The Microtech L.U.D.T. (Large Underwater Demolition Team) is a larger version of one the first knives from Microtech ever made, the mini U.M.S. This robust side opening automatic knife features a straight forward design based on the simplicity of carry and ease of everyday use.  

The new blade style on L.U.D.T. has a rear hump with textured jimping that flows onto the spine to improve grip, the chassis of the knife tapers from pivot to pocket clip reducing weight and increasing comfort along with a ported rear handle section allowing water and dirt to flow threw the knife for easy cleaning in the field. The L.U.D.T. is adorned with all new Microtech fasteners including 3 to hold the pocket clip in place. 

This new style L.U.D.T. push button auto from Microtech is a reminder of the company's roots in the traditional auto market, while showing of the subtle engineering upgrades that keep them in the forefront of the industry.
