The FN America AR-15 Complete Upper is a premium M4 style upper that lives up to the battle tested reputation of FN America. It features a durable and reliable 4150 chrome moly vanadium barrel and a black manganese phosphate finish. This barrel is chambered in 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington with a fixed front sight and 1/2”x28 threaded barrel for optimal performance and functionality. It features M-16 bolt carrier group constructed from pure Carpenter 158 steel making the bolt stronger and more fatigue resistant. It boasts a M4 handguard treated with type III hard coat anodized finish to ensure it can withstand the most severe abuse and provide maximum corrosion resistance. The 5.56 AR-15 upper features a M4 feed ramp to promote consistent and reliable feeding. FN’s are High Pressure Tested (HPT) and Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) to ensure they are free of micro-stresses, cracks and flaws to ensure the quality and consistency of each barrel. In addition, to the rigorous standards and specifications, FN has years of battle proven experience. They produce some of the longest-lived, most accurate rifle barrels for the United States military with exceptional repeatability and incredible durability.
