Redesigned by lessons learned in combat since 9/11, the BCM MK2 Upper Receiver is built with up to 30% more rigidity than the current Mil-Spec M4 upper receiver without sacrificing interoperability for a mere additional 1/3 ounce of weight.

The description says this is the MK2 and also the standard, both can’t be true. The picture certainly shows the standard as you can see the placement of the forward assists. My question is, is this the MK2x or the Standard?

The “standard” reference is to the barrel, not the receiver. You can order BCM rifles with a standard barrel or upgraded BFH barrel.

MK2 refers to the receiver (which clearly shows the that version of their receiver). The word "standard" refers to the barrel.
